Margie
Owner, LM, CPM, CEO
Margie Kline has been dedicated to supporting women and babies since 1985. She began her journey as a doula, birth and breastfeeding rights advocate, and midwife in New Mexico before relocating to Arizona in 2005. In 2009, Margie formally pursued midwifery education at Aviva Midwifery Institute, gaining hands-on experience in a high-volume birth center in El Paso, Texas, and a missionary birthing home in Tay Tay, Rizal, Philippines. She further expanded her clinical expertise through work with a homebirth midwifery practice and a birth center in Phoenix. In 2013, she earned her national certification from the North American Registry of Midwives and obtained state licensure in Arizona. She is an active member of the Arizona Association of Midwives and has participated in over 800 births as an observer, assistant, or primary midwife. Margie is the youngest of six children, a proud mother of seven, and a grandmother of eight. When she’s not supporting families through pregnancy and birth, she enjoys spending time with loved ones, reading, watching movies, and listening to music.

Krystal
CPM, LM, COO
Krystal Harris has been a dedicated birth professional since 2014, she brings extensive experience both nationally and internationally. She spent nearly a decade in Egypt, working as an OB assistant in unmedicated hospital water births, assisting with gentle cesarean sections and further deepening her knowledge of maternal care. Currently, Krystal is Legacy’s COO and office manager, a midwife, and a birth assistant. She is also a certified Labor, Birth, and Postpartum Doula, Childbirth Educator through Childbirth International and a certified Spinning Babies®️ Parent Educator. She has been a valued member of Margie Kline’s team since 2020 and began her midwifery training in 2022. Her passion is empowering families, providing physical and emotional support, childbirth education, and personalized birth planning. She is also trained in Spinning Babies® techniques, helping parents optimize fetal positioning for smoother labor and birth experiences. Krystal has been married for 22 years and loves going on adventures with her husband and their adult children, Jakin and Naomi. In her free time, she enjoys reading, networking, and serving her community with the gifts God has given her.

Hannah
Student Midwife
Hannah has been wanting to be a midwife since she was 11 years old after watching her youngest sister be born at home; and grew up knowing she had to be a part of the birth world. The moment she graduated high school she started shadowing Margie in the awesome world of birth. She has been working with Margie as a birth assistant for over three years now and is a student in the process of being certified herself. She also offers placenta encapsulation services to Womancare clients. She loves the outdoors, running, soccer, and enjoys baking and wedding cake decorating.
Hannah’s goal is to encourage women in their pregnancy and birth experience and show the next generation how empowering a natural pregnancy and birth can be.

Adrianna
Team Member
Adrianna received her nursing degree from Northern Arizona University and has experience as a Med-Surg Tele nurse. Now a SAHM, she is pursuing her childbirth education certificate. Adrianna has been part of this amazing team since October 2021. What began as a simple inquiry into the birth world blossomed into a love for birth work. From the very first home birth she assisted with Margie and Krystal to welcoming her own son into the world, she is passionate about providing holistic care that empowers expectant women and their families with compassionate education and support. She is honored to be a part of this team - and your pregnancy journey.
Adrianna enjoys spending time with her husband and growing family. She also enjoys baking, camping, hiking, gardening, and traveling. She and her family hope to use their professional skills and serve internationally in the near future.

Amy
Birth and Postpartum Doula, Childbirth Educator and Birth Assistant
More than twenty plus years after Amy's own first midwife and husband assisted birth, her heart continues to expand at every birth. Watching fathers bond with their babies, mothers trust the strength of their bodies, and babies be welcomed gently into a world of love has been transformational. Her passion is to name and support strengths of each unique family, helping each member thrive in their birth journey.
As a Childbirth Educator, Amy designed a custom course for Legacy families. She creates a warm space for families to share wisdom, create community with other birthing families, and discover the strength they bring to birth. As a birth doula Amy thrives offering emotional support, Spinning Babies techniques and flexibility in following the needs of each family. Postparum care comes naturally as Amy is a trained Breastfeeding Counselor, has years of cooking and cleaning experience, care for children and she is an intuitive listener. Connected to many local resources she can help families navigate the early challenges of having a new baby.

Joy
BSN, RN, CCRN, NRP Certified, ACLS Provider, AG-ACNP Student at GCU
Joycelyn Chan, RN, BSN, CCRN-CMC “Joy” has been with our team for many years now. She brings over 20 years of healthcare experience in several different fields. She currently serves as a CCRN in the Cardiovascular ICU at Flagstaff Medical Center and as one our own nurses here at Legacy!Joycelyn is pursuing her Master of Science in Nursing as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, with graduation anticipated summer of 2026.
In addition to her ICU work, Joy is deeply passionate about women’s wellness and birth. She feels divinely called to the birth space and is honored to support families through Legacy Birth and Wellness. She believes that both critical care and childbirth require grace, presence, and trust in the human body’s resilience. Her unique background allows her to serve patients across the spectrum of life with skill, empathy, and a heart for healing.

Milly
LMT, Doula
is a certified birth doula, licensed massage therapist, and experienced birth assistant with two years of hands-on support in labor and delivery. Trained through a doula program called A Woman Who Serves, she offers compassionate care to women in all seasons of life. Amelia received her massage therapy education from the National accredited program, Arizona School of Integrated Studies and advanced prenatal training from the Lauterstein-Conway Massage School and Clinic. She specializes in peri- and prenatal care, blending clinical skill with a calming, nurturing presence.

Tiffany
BSN, RN, NP
Tiffany Burkart is a dedicated registered nurse and soon-to-be nurse practitioner
specializing in acute care in the breathtaking mountains of Flagstaff, Arizona. She is
passionate about caring for others and finds her greatest joy in spending time with her
five adopted boys and her incredible husband of 22 years. Outside of her nursing
career, Tiffany loves living life to the fullest, playing softball and volleyball,
snowboarding, hunting, camping, and embracing every opportunity for adventure.
She earned her RN degree from Coconino Community College and went on to receive
her bachelor’s degree from Northern Arizona University. Now in her final year as a
student nurse practitioner at Grand Canyon University, Tiffany continues to grow as a
healthcare provider while working part-time as a medical ICU nurse, relief charge, and
SWAT nurse at Flagstaff Medical Center.
